Democratic candidate Paul Davis continued to show stronger fundraising numbers than Republicans in the race for Kansas 2nd District Congressional seat in quarterly campaign finance numbers released Thursday.
Davis, a Lawrence attorney, raised more than $330,000 from October through December, more than two-thirds of it from individuals. He’s the only Democrat raising money in the race.
According to Davis’ campaign finance report, he also took about $96,500 from political action committees, and almost no money from political parties.
“Paul is working hard to build a winning 2018 campaign,” his campaign manager Kerry Gooch said in a release earlier this month announcing his fundraising.
