As I’ve said, I learned a lot while visiting all 25 counties in the second Congressional District. I talked to people who are new to Kansas and people who have lived here all their lives. All of these folks face similar challenges and have significant concerns about our future.
Few issues have motivated people to get involved more than health care. All across our state we called, wrote, faxed (yes, you can still fax your Congressman!) and tweeted asking for a better bill. Our leaders in Congress didn’t listen.
It’s time for leadership that listens.

In Kansas, Paul Davis, a former state legislative leader and gubernatorial candidate, is expected to run for the House seat being vacated by retiring Representative Lynn Jenkins, a Republican.
